W.D. Kilpack III (Bill Kilpack) is an award-winning American author of epic fantasy and science fiction based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is best known for creating the New Blood Saga and the Battle Calm Cycle, blending philosophy, mythology, and grounded fantasy elements. His works have earned over 50 awards. Beyond writing, he has served as a publisher, editor, screenwriter, and professor, and was also a world-ranked Greco-Roman wrestler and coach.
